The House on the Hill
I love this painting. It is a watercolour by Howard Forster. It is beautifully painted with subtle but strong colours and sharp definition. It is unusual for this subject matter to be painted so moodily and with such powerful atmosphere. Even the angle of the view is interesting and captivating making you want to know more.
It is 43 x 56 cms and has a lime washed wooden frame with glass.
